GERMAN WIREHAIRED POINTERS

"TAYLOR"

She is 1 year old and is going to stay on the smaller side.

She is only about 21 inches at the shoulder and weighs about 45 lbs. She up to date on shots and micro chipped and will be spayed prior to placement. She has an easy coat and good structure but an undershot bite so can not be shown.

She is a very high energy girl with a real need for leadership and a job. She is quite intelligent and would make an amazing agility or obedience dog. She has been introduced to birds but does not seem to have any natural instinct to hunt. She has a more dominant personality so if she is to be placed with other dogs, there has to be work done on the pack dynamic to make sure there are no issues bringing her in. She currently lives with other dogs (large and small) and a cat. She loves kids but can be a little shy around men at first. She is very vocal when she thinks she needs to be a "guard dog".  6 foot fence preferable.

While she may not be the dog for just anyone, she will be an amazing dog for the right family or person. If you think you are that person, feel free to contact me for more information.

Her fee is the cost of her being spayed and any cost to get her to her new home.

Jay-Mar's One In Every Crowd JH

"Smevil"

Smevil is 20 months old and has 6 points (including a 5 pt major won at a specialty). His pedigree is one of those dream pedigrees that Dual Champions are made of. Currently  3 of his littermates are campaigning in derby stakes all over the country and placing consistently. He is a sweet boy with a wonderful coat and can find any bird anywhere. He is about 24-25 inches tall and weights about 60 lbs.

The reason he is available is that he hunts too hard to be a field trial dog. He also is not fond of the show ring and while I could finish him easily, I would rather find him a home where he can shine in what he does best...love you and love to hunt for you. He is an easy dog to train and will easily be able to earn a Master Hunter title. He is green broke right now and with a little work on honoring would be ready for a Senior title.

I will place him on a co-ownership with someone who is interested in continuing to compete with him and is interested in using him to add to their breeding program. The placement cost would be a contract with breeding rights retained by me and the cost of getting him to the new owner. He is also available for a pet/hunting dog for $1500. That would include neutering him prior to placement.

Please contact me for any more information on this dog or any others we have available.

"Eli"

Eli is 2 1/2 years old and has 7 pts. in the ring ( both majors). He is a big boy! standing at 26 inches tall. He has the most amazing easy coat...what you see is what you get.

He is a lovebug....all he wants to do is try to sit in your lap. He is also very protective of his people so you need not ever fear anything with him around. He has some hunting talent and would be fine for the weekend hunter who isn't hard core. He loves to please and would do very well in obedience or rally.

He loves children, is good with other dogs but not good around cats. He can be a bit of a barker if left alone for too long.

He is avaliable on a co-ownership with limited breeding rights or nuetered and as a pet. His fee is $1000 which would include his nueter if going as a pet.
